This paper introduces OptiDrop, a novel optofluidic platform for multiparametric optical sensing of droplets in microfluidic applications. OptiDrop uses on-chip optical fibers to detect scattered and fluorescent signals from droplets with single-cell resolution, offering a simplified, miniaturized, and cost-effective alternative to microscopy-based methods. The platform's capabilities are demonstrated through a differential expression analysis of MHC proteins in response to IFNγ stimulation, showcasing its sensitivity in detecting cell surface biomarkers.
