Abstract
This study investigates the influence of narcissistic leadership on employees’ change-oriented organizational citizenship behavior (COCB) using conservation of resources theory and the work-home resources model. A survey of 363 employees from 61 teams in central China revealed that narcissistic leadership fosters a negative team climate ('team chaxu climate'), hindering COCB. Leaders' family affective support moderates this relationship; low support strengthens the negative effect. The study contributes to understanding narcissistic leadership and employee OCB, empirically validating the work-home resources model.
