Abstract

This study investigated the impact of inactivated COVID-19 vaccines on the immune response of recovered COVID-19 patients. The results showed that vaccination significantly boosted both humoral and cellular immunity, increasing antibody titers and neutralizing activity against various SARS-CoV-2 variants, including Delta and Omicron, for up to 9 months. While the humoral response decreased over time, and Omicron showed more resistance to neutralization, vaccination still enhanced the overall immune response, providing protection against reinfection.
