Work Engagement and Well-being Study (SWELL): a randomised controlled feasibility trial evaluating the effects of mindfulness versus light physical exercise at work

M. Vainre, T. Dalgleish, et al.

Mindfulness-based programmes (MBPs) are increasingly delivered online at work. This pragmatic randomised feasibility trial compared a 4‑week self-guided MBP to a light physical exercise programme in 241 employees, finding high acceptability but negligible benefits of MBP over exercise for work performance, while both improved mental health.
