The potential use of *Azolla pinnata* as an alternative bio-insecticide

This research explored the effectiveness of *Azolla pinnata* extracts as a bio-insecticide against *Aedes aegypti* and *Aedes albopictus*. The study revealed remarkable results, with 100% mortality in ovicidal tests and strong repellency observed in oviposition deterrence tests. Notably, three bioactive compounds linked to insecticidal properties were identified.
