This study extends the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model to investigate factors influencing the acceptance and use of DingTalk, a popular synchronous online learning platform in China. Using data from 856 participants, the study found that effort expectancy, performance expectancy, facilitating conditions, self-efficacy, and received feedback significantly impacted users' attitudes. Social influence, facilitating conditions, received feedback, and attitudes significantly predicted behavioral intention, while facilitating conditions, received feedback, and behavioral intention influenced use behavior. The extended UTAUT model explained 60.9% of the variance in behavioral intention. The study highlights the importance of various factors in technology adoption within the Chinese educational context.
