This paper investigates the impact of enterprise dormitories on the urban integration of migrant workers in China, focusing on two migration stages: individual and family migration. Using a logit model and data from the Pearl River Delta and Yangtze River Delta areas, along with the China Migrants Dynamic Survey, the study reveals that enterprise dormitories initially benefit single migrants by reducing labor costs and facilitating economic integration. However, during family migration, these dormitories negatively affect family reunification due to insufficient living space. The research provides a basis for resolving the conflict between family reunification and employment, and for optimizing housing policy.
