This study explores the understanding of inclusive education among Saudi university academics specializing in special education. Qualitative research using semi-structured interviews with 12 faculty members revealed ambiguity in the concept, with confusion between inclusive education and terms like "integration," "mainstreaming," and "placement." A correlation between inclusive education and special education was also observed. The study concludes with recommendations for clarifying the concept and promoting inclusive practices in Saudi Arabia.
