Abstract
This study applies the Braddock and Horgan content-analysis framework to 79 official English-language ISIS videos (2014–2017) to quantify themes and track the evolution of ISIS’s global media operations. Findings indicate a dominant emphasis on enemy and religious narratives, with Sharia/governance as the most prevalent single theme. Overall, ISIS’s official English-language propaganda weaves adversarial, theological, and emotive elements into a sophisticated, globally targeted narrative apparatus.
