Abstract
This study investigated the effects of meme consumption on suicide sensitivity among social work students. Using a pre-test/post-test design, participants (n=51) were exposed to either suicide/depression-themed memes or general-themed memes. Results showed no long-term effects of meme exposure on suicide sensitivity but revealed a short-term effect, with general memes leading to decreased sensitivity. Further research with a larger, more representative sample is needed.
