Abstract

This paper investigates censorship in Arabic subtitles of the American sitcom *Two and a Half Men* on MBC4 and DVD versions. A comparative analysis of 16 episodes reveals stricter censorship on MBC4, employing euphemisation, semantic mistranslation, and omission, particularly concerning homosexuality. This impacts viewer understanding of the humor and storyline.
