Abstract
This systematic review investigated global changes in urban green space (UGS) use during the COVID-19 pandemic. Analyzing 177 articles from 60 countries, the study found diverging trends in UGS use, influenced by COVID-19 policies and GDP per capita. Stricter policies and lower GDP were associated with decreased UGS use, particularly in public parks. Private gardens and natural areas showed increased use. Global disparities in UGS use were exacerbated, highlighting the need for enhanced green infrastructure beyond public parks.
