Abstract
This paper investigates the construction and infiltration strategies of social bots on Sina Microblog. The researchers exploited vulnerabilities in Sina Microblog's defense mechanism to build 96 social bots, achieving a 100% survival rate and gaining 5546 followers over 42 days. The study analyzes the impact of various infiltration strategies, including gender, profile photo, activity level, following strategies, and posting strategies, highlighting the effectiveness of targeted following and high activity levels in gaining followers. The findings reveal vulnerabilities in Sina Microblog's defense mechanisms and provide valuable insights for social bot detection.
