Abstract

The National Cancer Institute's Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Development Center supports oncology small businesses. Many struggle with navigating FDA regulations. In collaboration with the FDA, the Connecting Awardees with Regulatory Experts (CARE) program was launched to provide regulatory assistance. 141 companies participated, with surveys indicating the program significantly aided regulatory planning and project aims. The paper also discusses other NCI-FDA collaborations, including joint funding opportunities and online resources.
