Abstract
This paper investigates the car enthusiasm of Polish residents during the second and fourth waves of the pandemic, examining whether car enthusiasm changed between October 2020 and October 2021. A computer-assisted web interview (CAWI) survey was conducted in two rounds, with data analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM). The study found that car enthusiasm was higher in 2021 than in 2020, positively correlated with ecological orientation, lower among Y-generation respondents, and more strongly influenced by life quality in the fourth wave.
