Abstract
This study evaluated the impact of a BNT162b2 mRNA vaccine booster dose on antibody neutralization against the SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant in 90 individuals after a primary CoronaVac vaccination scheme. Results showed that the seroconversion rate increased significantly from 10% to 76.6% after the booster dose, with a 43.1-fold increase in the mean neutralization titer against Omicron. This indicates a positive impact of the combined vaccination strategy on the immune response against the Omicron variant.
