Abstract
This study investigates assessment practices in Saudi universities before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. Using the Approaches to Classroom Inventory (ACAI) survey, the researchers identified highly endorsed practices (feedback, linking assessments to learning objectives, using scoring guides) and less endorsed practices (mapping summative assessment to curriculum, addressing cultural/linguistic diversity, accommodating special needs). The study also explored faculty assessment training needs and preferences, revealing variations across colleges and career stages.
