Age-Normalized Testosterone Peaks at Series B for Male Startup Founders

A study of 107 male Y Combinator founders found age-normalized testosterone rose 55.7% from pre-seed to seed, peaked at Series B (99.6% higher than pre-seed), then dropped 42.2% post-Series B with cortisol spikes — supporting the dual-hormone hypothesis or suggesting high-testosterone founders raise larger rounds.
