Abstract
Printed electronics manufacturing uses many harmful solvents. This paper introduces a tool to identify greener alternatives. The tool uses Hansen solubility parameters, ink properties, and sustainability descriptors to suggest replacements with similar dissolution capacity. A case study on light-emitting electrochemical cells successfully replaced a harmful solvent with two benign alternatives. The tool is freely available online.
