Abstract
This article explores two Finnish and Sámi community-led rewilding projects to examine how to achieve equitable conservation by negotiating a new coexistence with rewilded sites. The research addresses historical injustices in conservation practices that prioritized mainstream societal benefit over Indigenous communities.
