Abstract
This study empirically investigates the relationship between digitalization and female labor force participation (FLFP) in BRICS economies. Using annual data from 1990 to 2020 and advanced panel estimation techniques (including Banerjee and Carrion-i-Silvestre cointegration), the study finds a positive correlation between digitalization and FLFP. Education and GDP also positively impact FLFP, with long-run effects exceeding short-run effects. The findings offer policy insights for improving FLFP in the BRICS nations.
