Abstract
This paper analyzes the eighth season of the American medical drama series *Chicago Med*'s representation of artificial intelligence (AI) in a hospital setting. The analysis focuses on AI applications' reasons and outcomes, characters' attitudes, and ethical issues such as transparency, automation bias, and the responsibility gap. The study concludes that *Chicago Med* presents thought-provoking scenarios, highlighting both the groundbreaking opportunities and potential dangers of medical AI, encouraging critical thinking about its application.
