The construction industry faces numerous challenges, including cost and time overruns, health and safety issues, and labor shortages. This study examines the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to address these challenges. It reviews existing AI applications in construction, identifies opportunities for increased AI adoption, and highlights the challenges involved. The study provides insights into key AI applications for construction-specific problems and pathways to realize the benefits of AI in the industry.
