This study evaluated the effect of XP-Endo Finisher (XPF), passive ultrasonic irrigation (PUI), and conventional irrigation using a side-vented needle (SVN) on apical debris extrusion and canal cleanliness after removing double antibiotic paste (DAP) from immature root canal models. Forty-eight extracted premolars were used, with canals filled with DAP and randomly assigned to the three groups. Debris extrusion was measured, and root canals were imaged to assess residual DAP. There was no significant difference in debris extrusion between groups. However, XPF and PUI showed significantly better canal cleanliness than SVN. A non-significant positive correlation existed between extruded debris and residual DAP.
