This research investigates the impact of spiritual leadership on proactive customer service performance in the hospitality industry. Using social cognitive theory, the study explores the mediating role of psychological empowerment and the moderating role of power distance. Regression analysis of data from 263 leaders and employees reveals that spiritual leadership positively influences psychological empowerment, which in turn enhances proactive customer service. This positive effect is amplified in low power distance environments.
