This study examines the interplay of time and space in shaping the relationship between humanity, law, and society using cognitive semiotics. Analyzing data protection laws from the US, UK, EU, and China, the research identifies cyclical and linear time representations, place and field spaces, and explores how these elements function in legal discourse and power negotiation.
