Abstract

This paper investigates the relationship between exposure to online political activity, education levels, and the rise of Euroscepticism. Using European-wide and national surveys, the study finds a strong correlation between online political exposure and Euroscepticism among individuals with lower formal education. The research highlights that social media use, rather than internet use in general, is the key factor driving this relationship.
