This narrative review examines the multifaceted social, ethical, and treatment-related challenges faced by healthcare workers in India when managing head and neck cancer (HNC) patients. It highlights the unique ethical dilemmas arising from screening, diagnosis, treatment decisions, rehabilitation, end-of-life care, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The authors emphasize the need for enhanced ethical training for healthcare professionals to address these complex issues within the Indian sociocultural context.
