Abstract
This paper investigates the reliability of using single metrics to assess green accessibility in cities. By analyzing the stability of population and area rankings across over 1000 cities using various green accessibility indicators, the authors demonstrate that a single indicator may inadequately differentiate across areas or population subgroups. This highlights the need for a multi-dimensional framework to evaluate a range of indicators simultaneously for a more comprehensive and reliable assessment of urban green accessibility.
