Abstract
This study introduces selenium-tellurium doped copper oxide nanoparticles (SeTe-CuO NPs) with photodynamic and photothermal properties for combating bacterial infections. In vitro tests showed significant antibacterial activity and biofilm inhibition under near-infrared (NIR) irradiation. In vivo studies demonstrated accelerated wound closure and bacterial clearance in wounds treated with NIR-activated SeTe-CuO NPs. This versatile platform shows promise for treating multidrug-resistant bacteria and improving wound care.
