Abstract
This study examines Polish lower secondary school students' preferences for different study modes and school subjects using a discrete choice experiment (DCE). It reveals significant heterogeneity in student tastes, with most preferring group study, but with key differences across achievement levels and subjects. The DCE method effectively measures learning preferences, informing policies to optimize learning incentives.
