The number of mothers experiencing mental health issues is rising, particularly during the pandemic. This study investigated the relationship between intestinal microbiota, physical health, and psychological well-being in healthy mothers to identify resilience factors. Two studies revealed links between microbiome diversity and parenting stress risk. Specific bacterial genera (*Blautia*, *Clostridium*, and *Eggerthella*) were associated with psychological resilience and physical health. This research advances our understanding of the gut-brain axis and suggests potential strategies for enhancing maternal resilience.
