This research analyzes the impact of strategic alliances on the innovation of women-owned enterprises in Nigeria using a quantitative survey of 109 women-owned enterprises. Regression analysis reveals that strategic alliance characteristics have varied effects on innovation. Cost reduction and new opportunities significantly increased process innovation (0.76 and 0.62 respectively), while cost reduction also significantly increased product innovation (0.63). The study recommends policymakers encourage strategic alliances to foster innovation in women-owned enterprises.
