Abstract

This paper reports the identification of cannabidihexol (CBDH) and Δ⁹-tetrahydrocannabihexol (Δ⁹-THCH), new phytocannabinoids with a n-hexyl side chain on the resorcinyl moiety, in a medicinal cannabis variety. The identification was confirmed by comparing retention time, molecular ion, and fragmentation spectra with synthetic standards. CBDH showed analgesic activity in mice at low doses.
