Abstract

This paper performs a discursive archaeology of the concepts "post-truth" and "fake news," analyzing their evolution and application across different discourse domains. It examines the shift in the concept's use from its origins in leftist and liberal critiques of media to its current deployment against the very intellectual milieu it originated from. The paper utilizes Foucault's and Agamben's approaches to understand these changes, drawing on diverse sources, including journalistic materials and academic research.
