Abstract

This narrative review examines various home monitoring programs implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic, focusing on different disease phases. It explores the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of these programs in prehospital settings, hospital care at home (virtual wards), and post-discharge recovery monitoring. The review analyzes various studies, highlighting the benefits, limitations, and requirements for successful home monitoring of COVID-19 patients.
