This study investigates grade inflation in Turkish business administration undergraduate programs from 2002 to 2022. Using secondary data from 40 universities, the researchers analyzed the grade point averages of 46,415 students and course grades for 515,739 students across 12,579 courses. The study found a significant increase in the percentage of graduates with honors degrees and a substantial rise in average GPAs, indicating grade inflation. Factors associated with higher grades included female gender, lower university entrance scores, and Turkish-language instruction. The study also examined factors influencing course grades, such as gender and class level.
