Abstract
This study examines the factors influencing Generation Z's intention to work in tourism within their World Heritage Site (WHS) hometowns, using Antequera, Spain, as a case study. The Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) framework is employed to assess the impact of community involvement, place attachment, and positive/negative perceptions of tourism development on work intentions. A PLS-SEM model reveals that community involvement, place attachment, and positive perceptions directly influence work intentions, while negative perceptions do not.
