This paper examines factors influencing entrepreneurial intentions among Chinese university students, focusing on how student internship motivation (SIM) moderates the impact of entrepreneurial attitude (EA), subjective norms (SN), perceived behavioral control (PBC), entrepreneurial education (EE), and entrepreneurial self-efficacy (ESE) on entrepreneurial intentions (SEI). Using a questionnaire with 478 Chinese college students, multiple linear regression analysis revealed that EA, SN, PBC, EE, and ESE positively influence SEI. Moderation analysis showed SIM significantly and negatively moderates the impact of EA, SN, PBC, and ESE on SEI, but not EE. The study discusses implications for developing sustainable entrepreneurial and internship programs.
