Abstract
This research assesses the efficacy of training programs for managerial and non-managerial bank employees in India using Kirkpatrick's four-level model (Reaction, Learning, Behavior, Results). Data from 402 respondents in public, private, and foreign sector banks were analyzed using SEM-PLS. Results indicate a strong interlinkage between the four levels, with managerial employees showing significantly higher effectiveness than non-managerial employees. The study is a novel application of Kirkpatrick's model to the Indian banking sector.
