This study explores the evolving concept of sense of place in the digital age, integrating digital and physical spaces within the context of information and communication technology (ICT). It reviews historical changes and debates surrounding sense of place, explores the interplay between digital media and place perceptions, and introduces a three-dimensional framework encompassing physical, digital, and hybrid sense of place. The framework captures multifaceted connections individuals establish with both physical and digital spaces. Finally, the research explores practical applications of this reconceptualized sense of place in urban planning, community development, tourism, and immigration.
