Abstract
This research explores the electrodeposition of CdMnTe thin films for photovoltaic (PV) applications. The study investigates the structural, compositional, morphological, optical, and electrical properties of the films using various characterization techniques. The effects of different cathodic potentials and post-growth treatments (heat treatment with CdCl₂ and GaCl₃) on film properties are analyzed. The results demonstrate the successful incorporation of Mn into CdTe, leading to p-type conductivity and a tunable bandgap suitable for PV applications.
