Curiosity shapes spatial exploration and cognitive map formation in humans
D. Cen, E. Teichert, et al.
Curiosity helps build cognitive maps — this study shows that pre-exploration curiosity predicts how much people explore, visual exploration shapes post-exploration interest, and Stress Tolerance strengthens curiosity's link to exploration, with both curiosity and exploration improving spatial recall. Research conducted by Danlu Cen, Eva Teichert, Carl J. Hodgetts, and Matthias J. Gruber.
