Curiosity shapes spatial exploration and cognitive map formation in humans
D. Cen, E. Teichert, et al.
Pre-exploration curiosity predicted how much people explored virtual environments, visual exploration shaped later interest, and Stress Tolerance amplified the curiosity–exploration link — together with curiosity and exploration predicting sketch-map recall precision. This research was conducted by Danlu Cen, Eva Teichert, Carl J. Hodgetts, and Matthias J. Gruber.
