This research introduces poly-zwitterionic complexes (pZCs), formed by liquid-liquid phase separation of a polyzwitterion and a polyelectrolyte. The pZCs exhibit orthogonal phase behavior, remaining intact in acidic conditions but disassembling as pH increases. This behavior is linked to gastrointestinal conditions, demonstrating the potential of pZCs as pH-triggered drug delivery systems for enhanced oral drug uptake efficiency.
