Abstract
This study investigates the impact of social capital on knowledge sharing and transfer in the workplace, focusing on information service firms in mainland China. Utilizing data from 483 respondents in 30 firms, the study finds that both relational and structural social capital positively influence knowledge management processes, ultimately enhancing employees' knowledge-sharing and transfer behaviors. The research is framed by social exchange theory.
