Abstract
This paper investigates the impact of digital platforms (DP) on innovation quality (INN) in China using provincial panel data from 2011-2021. Employing fixed effects, intermediary effect, and dynamic threshold regression models, the study finds a significant positive direct effect of DP on INN. Resource mismatches play mediating and threshold roles in this relationship. The findings offer policy implications for strengthening digital platform ecosystems and enhancing innovation quality.
