This research investigates the influencing factors of housing construction technology in China's Desakota regions, a newly emerging semi-urban area. A survey of 120 respondents identified six primary and twenty secondary factors. Statistical analysis revealed "Architectural and engineering mechanical factors" as the top primary factor, while "Cost, financial and economic evaluation" and "Analysis of the impact of the natural environment on buildings" ranked highest among secondary factors. The findings provide valuable insights for stakeholders in navigating rapid urban development.
