Abstract
This research analyzes the social media debate surrounding "nuclear" themes (civilian nuclear energy and the potential for atomic conflict in Ukraine) during the 2022 Italian election campaign. Using a multiplatform approach and the concept of "Bridges" (from Transmedia Theory) to describe narrative connections between platforms, the study employs an explanatory sequential design combining digital methods and qualitative analysis. Findings reveal polarized positions and fragmented narratives, with bridges spreading affective, defective, and infective content across platforms. The research emphasizes the need for cross-platform, interdisciplinary approaches to combatting disinformation in the evolving social media ecosystem.
