Abstract
This paper details the development of a visualization tool to challenge preconceived notions about biosecurity in Indian poultry farming. The researchers found the term "biosecurity" to be inconsistently understood and applied, leading them to design a participatory visualization tool to facilitate dialogue and understand diverse practices. The tool revealed differing interpretations of disease prevention and control among stakeholders, highlighting the need to move beyond the term "biosecurity" and develop locally relevant solutions.
